ISO 45001 Foundation Training 

Course Description

This course provides participants with a foundational understanding of ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (OHSMS). It explains the structure, principles, and requirements of the standard, focusing on how organizations can identify hazards, manage risks, improve worker safety, and achieve continual improvement in occupational health and safety performance.


Learning Outcomes

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the purpose, structure, and key concepts of ISO 45001.
  • Explain the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle within an OHS management system.
  • Identify roles, responsibilities, and leadership requirements under ISO 45001.

  • Support implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of an OHSMS.
  • Contribute to compliance and improved workplace safety performance.
