Course Description
This course provides participants with essential knowledge of workplace health and safety principles. Learners will understand common hazards, safe work practices, emergency procedures, and the importance of personal responsibility in maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- Recognize common workplace hazards and risks.
- Apply basic safety practices to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Understand and follow emergency procedures and evacuation plans.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly.
- Contribute to a positive safety culture in the workplace.
Prerequisite
- None required.
- Recommended: willingness to participate in discussions and safety exercises.
Course Attire
- Comfortable clothing suitable for light physical activity.
- PPE may be required for practical exercises (as per workplace SOPs).

- Supervisors and team leads as part of onboarding or refresher training.
