Course Description
This course provides participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely enter, work in, and exit confined spaces. It focuses on hazard identification, atmospheric testing, permit-to-work systems, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), emergency preparedness, and rescue procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations and protect personnel.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- Identify confined spaces and recognize associated hazards.
- Understand the roles and responsibilities of entrants, attendants, and supervisors.
- Apply proper use of permits-to-work and entry authorization procedures.
- Conduct atmospheric testing and interpret gas detector readings.
- Use PPE and personal safety equipment correctly.
- Implement safe entry, work, and exit procedures.
- Respond to emergencies and assist in confined space rescues safely.

- Recommended: basic workplace safety knowledge and physical fitness suitable for confined space work.

Certification
Participants who complete the course and assessment receive an Apexis Confined Space Entry Training Certificate.
