Course Description
This course trains participants to perform the role of a Fire Watch, ensuring fire hazards are monitored and controlled in high-risk areas. Learners will understand fire prevention practices, recognize potential ignition sources, maintain proper documentation, and respond appropriately to fire incidents until permanent fire protection measures are restored.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- Explain the role and responsibilities of a Fire Watch.
- Identify fire hazards in high-risk work areas.
- Monitor fire safety conditions effectively and take corrective actions.
- Operate communication systems to report incidents.
- Understand emergency procedures and coordinate with fire response teams.
Prerequisite
- None required.
- Recommended: basic knowledge of workplace fire safety and emergency response procedures.
Course Attire
- Appropriate work clothing for operational areas.
- PPE as required for the environment being monitored (e.g., flame-resistant clothing, hard hat, safety boots).

- Employees assigned as Fire Watch in high-risk areas (hot work, welding, maintenance, or confined spaces).
- Supervisors and safety personnel overseeing temporary fire hazard zones.
- Any staff required to maintain fire safety during hazardous operations.
