ISO 45001 Lead Auditor Training

Course Description

This course provides participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to plan, conduct, report, and follow up on audits of an ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS). It focuses on audit principles, auditor competencies, ISO 19011 guidance, and effective communication to evaluate conformity, identify nonconformities, and support continual improvement.

Prerequisite

  • Recommended: ISO 45001 Foundation or Lead Implementer training.
  • Basic knowledge of occupational health and safety management systems.

Certification

Participants who successfully complete the course and assessment receive an Apexis ISO 45001 Lead Auditor Certificate.
Recommended Recertification: Not mandatory; refresher training recommended when ISO 45001 or auditing standards are updated.
